GOST 60 Heat Treatments
- Normalization: heating temperature at 840 +/- 15°C and cooling in air 30 min.; Hardening at 820°C and cooling in the water; Tempering at 600°C +/- 50°C and cooling in air 1h; Quenching at 800 - 840°C, 30 min., cooling in oil or water; Annealing at 550 - 600°C, 1h and cooling in air.
- Normalizing: 820-850°C, Hardening: 800-830°C in water; 810-840°C in oil; Tempered: 540-680°C, air cooled
