PN 36HNM Heat Treatments
- Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in air at 650ºC.
- Quenched and tempered (1): Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in air at 630ºC. Quenched and tempered (2): Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in air or oil at 550ºC; Hardening temperature: 850°C; Delivery forgings: Heat treated at 1050-850°C: Softening: 650-700°C; Normalizing: 850-880°C; Hardening in water at 820-840°C or in the oil at 830-860°C: Tempering: recommended for dismounted cooling after tempering (oil or water) at 540-680°C.
