PN 34HNM Heat Treatments
- Quenched and tempered (1): Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in air or oil at 550ºC; Quenched and tempered (2): Hardening in oil at 850ºC then Tempering in air or oil at 500ºC; Hardening temperature: 845°C; Delivery forgings: Heat treated at 1050-850°C: Softening: 680-720°C; Normalizing: 850-880°C; Hardening in the oil at 830-860°C: Tempering: recommended for dismounted cooling after tempering (oil or water) at 540-680°C.
