JIS SB 46 Heat Treatments
- Plate up to and including 50mm in thickness shall normally be supplied as rolled. Plate over 50mm in thickness shall be supplied normalized to achieve a normal grain size, or shall be uniformly heat treated at such a temperature that an effect equivalent to normalizing may be gained in hot forming working.
