UNI X 6 CrNiNb 18 11 Heat Treatments
- Guideline Heat Treatment: Solutionize by heating to 1050 - 1100°C for a time sufficient to allow complete solutionizing, and quench in water or air according to the material thickness. Stress Relieving: Heat to a temperature less than or equal to 400°C for a time sufficient to stress relieve the material.
- Forging temperature: 1200-900°C; Quenched and Tempered: 1000-1100°C
