Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed (+AT): 1020-1120°C (for guidance only), cooling sufficiently rapid in water or air.
- <b>Recrystallization or solution heat treated</b> at 1020 - 1100°C, air or water cooling. If heat treatment is used in processing the tubes, the lower end of the temperature range should be aimed for. If the subsequent hot working temperature does not fall below 850°C, or if the product has been cold worked, the temperature for any renewed solution heat treatment may drop by -253,15°C (20°K) below the lower limit given here. <br> <b>Hot working </b> at 1150°C to 750°C, air cooling. Sufficiently rapid cooling required.
