- Cementation process at 875 to 925°C
Hardening (core) at 830 to 860°C, oil quenching
Hardening (surface) at 780 to 810°C, oil quenching
Tempering at 150 to 200°C.
Tempering for Jominy test at 880 ± 5°C - Carburized: 875-925°C; Hardened core: 830-860°C, oil quenched; Hardened case: 780-810°C, oil quenched; Tempered: 150-200°C.
