DIN X10CrMoVNb9-1 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing and tempering (+NT): 1040-1090°C, air cooling. Tempering: 730-780°C, air cooling. It may be necessary in the case of wall thickness T above 10 mm or T/D > 0.15 to apply quenching and tempering in order to achieve the intended structure and material properties.
- Normalizing at 1040-1100°C; Austenitizing at 1040-1100°C; Tempering at 730-780°C; Stress-relieving for 1h at 750°C and for 2h at 735°C.
