PROPRIETARY CQ10 Heat Treatments
- Hardening: 880 - 920°C (water), Soft annealing: 650 - 700°C, Normalising: 880 - 920°C
- Soft annealing: heat to 820 - 840°C for 4 - 6 hours, then slow furnace cooling.
Hardening: heat to 1010 - 1020°C. Air, warm bath of approx. 540°C, oil/polymer. Interrupt oil or polymer cooling at 230 - 280°C or vacuum hardening.
Tempering: 540 - 680°C.
Nitriding is possible.
Preheating before use at 150 - 350°C according to application.
