DIN 1.4449 Heat Treatments
- Quenching: Heated at 1050-1100°C, water quenched or air cooled. Structure after heat treatment is austenite. It is possible to contain some amount of ferrite.
- Solution annealed: 1050-1125°C, water or air cooled.
