PROPRIETARY Micro-Melt Maxamet Alloy 热处理
- Annealing: heat slowly to 871/899°C (1600/1650°F), hold until the entire mass is heated through, and cool slowly (do not exceed 11°C [20°F] per hour) in the furnace to about 538°C (1000°F).
Hardening: preheat at 816/871°C (1500/1600°F) long enough to ensure a thorough soak. Austenitize at 1038/1218°C (1900/2225°F) for 3-5 minutes, then oil quench. Parts may also be salt quenched to 538°C (1000°F), and air cooled.
Stress Relieving: heat slowly to 621/677°C (1150/1250°F), hold 1 to 2 hours, then cool in still air.
Tempering: tempering temperature s usually in the range 538/593°C (1000/1100°F). For austenitizing temperatures of 1177°C (2150°F) or below, a minimum of a double temper is desired. For austenitizing temperatures above 1177°C (2150°F), a triple temper with an included refrigeration step of -70°C (-100°F) after the first temper is suggested.
