Generic Al-5024 Traitement thermique
- The HIP treatment was performed for 4 h at 325°C with 100 MPa pressure in high purity nitrogen atmosphere (Hot Isostatic Pressing System AIP6-6oH). The OA2 treatment was carried out using an aging temperature at 300°C for a duration of 5 min, followed by water quenching and then another aging step at 350°C for 18 h in ambient atmosphere. Finally, two additional single-step heat treatments were applied with different holding times: 0.5 h at 325°C (denoted herein as HT 0.5 h) and 1 h at 325 °C (HT 1 h).
