GB H41690 Heat Treatments
- Solution treated at 955-1020°C, rapid or water cooled. Aged at 720±10°C for 8h, furnace cooled at 50°C/h to 620±10°C, hold for 8h, air cooled.
- Solution treatment: heating between 940 - 995°C ± 10°C air cooling or faster cooling rate. Double aging: First aging at 720 ± 10°C for 8 h, furnace cool to 620 ± 10°C at 50 ± 10°C/h, hold for 8 h, then air cool. Second aging at 720 ± 10°C for 8 h, cool to 620 ± 10°C at any rate, hold to ensure total aging time ≥ 18 h, then air cool.
