PROPRIETARY Haynes 282 Heat Treatments
- Heat Treatment Option 1
Step 1: Hold at 1250°C for 2 h, followed by rapid cooling (110 °C/min or faster) to room temperature
Step 2: Hold at 1010°C for 2 h, followed by cooling equivalent to air cooling (approx 20 °C/min or faster) to room temperature
Step 3: Hold at 788°C 8 h, followed by cooling equivalent to air cooling (approx 20°C/min or faster).
Heat Treatment Option 2
Step 1: Hold at 1135°C for 2 h, followed by rapid cooling (110 °C/min or faster) to room temperature.
Step 2: Hold at 1010°C for 2 h, followed by cooling equivalent to air cooling (approx 20°C/min or faster) to room temperature.
Step 3: Hold at 788°C for 8 h, followed by cooling equivalent to air cooling (approx 20°C/min or faster).
