ASD-STAN 7010 Heat Treatments
- T7652: Solution treated at 475 ± 5°C, water quenched, θ ≤ 40°C; controlled compression 1 - 5%; artificial aged at 110 - 120°C, for 8 - 24 hours; 172 ± 5°C, 6 - 10 hours.
Alternatively artificially aged by heating at a rate ≤ 20°C/hour up to 172 ± 5°C and maintain at this temperature for 6 - 10 hours.
