DTD 727B Heat Treatments
- The castings and test samples shall be heat treated together as follows:
- Heat at temperature of 540±5°C for not less than 4 hours nor more than 12 hours;
- Quench in water at a temperature between 80°C and 100°C or in oil;
- Re-heat at a temperature 130±10°C for not les than 1 hour nor more than 2 hours.
