DTD 735B Heat Treatments
- The castings and test samples shall be heat treated together as follows:
- Heat at temperature of 540±5°C for not less than 4 hours nor more than 12 hours.
- Quench in water at temperature between 80°C and 100°C or in oil
- Re-heat at temperature of 165±10°C for not less than 8 hours nor more than 12 hours.
