PROPRIETARY Pfinodal Heat Treatments

  • Mill hardened as delivered: 250-300°C/24h
    Age hardened: 350-380°C/2h
    Tempers (TX00, TS01, TS02, TS03, TS04): Heat treated at 370°C/2h
  • Spinodal hardening treatment for TX00, TS01, TS02, TS03 at 370°C/2h and for TS04 at 360°C/2h
Recommended aging cycle in furnaces or oven ranges to achieve peak or near peak strength for:
    TB00, TD01 and TD02 at 357-371°C (675 -700°F) / 2 hours and for
    TD03 and TD04 at 343-357°C(650-675°F) / 2 hours.
It is recommended that the furnace temperature be below 93°C (200°F) before removal of parts to avoid surface tarnish.
