- Delivery heat treatment
Solution treated at 1080 ± 10°C:
for t ≤ 3mm, time 1h
for 3 < t ≤ 6mm, time 2h
for 6 < t ≤ 12mm, time 4h
for t > 12mm, time 8h
and cooled in air or suitable medium
Solution treated and precipitation treated at 1080 ± 10°C:
for t ≤ 3mm, time 1h
for 3 < t ≤ 6mm, time 2h
for 6 < t ≤ 12mm, time 4h
for t > 12mm, time 8h
and cooled in air or suitable medium + 700 ± 10°C/t = 16h /AC
Condition of use
Solution treated and precipitation treated
Delivery condition + 700 ± 10°C/t = 16h, air cooled - Delivery heat treatment
Solution treated, descaled, for sheet and strip
at 1100 ≤ θ ≤ 1150°C/ 1min ≤ t ≤ 10 min / air cooled or faster

at 1100 ≤ θ ≤ 1150°C/ 10 min ≤ t ≤ 30 min / air cooled or faster
Heat treatment - Used - for sheet, strip and plate
