Heat Treatments
- 8% <= cold worked <= 12% solution treated D < 15 mm, 1080°C/15 min <= t <= 30 min/air cool or faster 15 mm <= D <= 30 mm, 1080°C/80 min <= t <= 60 min/air cool or faster. Delivery condition + 750°C/t = 4h/air cool
- Delivery = use condition: HR 601A - (8% <= cold worked <= 12% + straightened + solution heat treated + ground or descaled) treated at θ = (1 080 ±10) °C/ AC or faster (for D = 15 mm: 15 min = t = 30 min; for 15 mm = D = 30 mm: 30 min = t = 60 min); HR 601B - (8% <= cold worked <= 12% + softened) treated at 1 080 °C = θ = 1 120 °C/ WC; HR 601C - (8% <= cold worked <= 12% + straightened + ground); Solution treated + precipitation treated θ = (1 080 °C ±10) °C/AC or faster (D <= 15 mm: 15 min <= t <= 30 min; 15 mm <= D <= 30 mm: 30 min <= t <= 60 min) + θ = (750 ±10) °C/ t = 4 h/AC.
