JIS NCF750 Heat Treatments
- Solution treatment (S1): 1135°C - 1165°C, rapid cooling.
Solution treatment (S2): 965°C - 995°C, rapid cooling.
Ageing treatment (H2): After S1 treatment, 800°C - 830°C (24 hours), air cool down to room temperature, 690°C - 720°C (20 hours), rapidly cool (H1).
Ageing treatment (H2): After S2 treatment, 720°C - 740°C (8 hours), cool to 610°C - 630°C in furnace, age at the same temperature and air cool. The total ageing period is 18 hours. - Solution treated then aged (H1)
Solution treatment (S1): 1135°C to 1165°C rapid cooling;
Ageing: After S1 treatment, hold for 24 h at 800°C to 830°C, air cool to room temperature, hold for 20 h at 690°C to 720°C, and air cool.
Solution treated then aged (H2)
Solution treatment (S2): 965°C to 995°C rapid cooling;
Ageing: After S2 treatment, hold for 8 h at 720°C to 740°C, cool in furnace from 610°C to 630°C, age at this temperature, and air cool. The total ageing period is 18 h.
