DIN 2.4610 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed at 1050-1080°C, held 5-60 min, depending on the thickness. An increase of the solution annealing temperature up to 1180°C as well as deviating holding times is permissible. Cooled in water, compressed air or inert gas.
Hot forming temperature is 1180-900°C, cooling in air. After hot forming, reheat according to regular heat treatment is required.
After cold forming with deformation rate > 15% reheat according to regular heat treatment is required.
