- For wires:
Annealed: 730°C (1350°F) for 16h, air cooling.
Soft drawn, final reduction 15% (No 1 temper): 730°C (1350°F) for 16h, air cooling.
Hard drawn, final reduction 65% (Spring temper): 1150°C (2100°F) for 2 h, 840 °C (1540°F) for 24 h, 700 °C (1300°F) for 24 h, air cooling after all steps.
Hard drawn, final reduction 65 % (Spring temper): 650 °C (1200°F) for 4h, air cooling.
Strips annealed and tempered, 705°C (1300°F)/20 h.
