PROPRIETARY INCONEL alloy 740H Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed at 1120°C (2050°F)/WQ; Aged at 800°C(1472°F)/5hrs/AC.
It is an age-hardened superalloy typically supplied in the solution annealed and age-hardened condition. The recommended temperature range for hot-forming operations such as forging or hot-rolling is between 870°C (1600°F) and 1190°C (2175°F).
