MIL 354.0 Heat Treatments


  • Solution heat-treating 526° to 535°C; Recommended soaking time in hours: 10 to 12h; Temper after solution treatment -T4; Aging (precipitation) heat treatments. No quenching required. Cool in still air outside furnace; Recommended aging temperature is 149°-160°C or 165°-177°C. Recommended soaking time is 10-12h or 6-10h and temper after aging treatment is T61 or T62
