B.S. L 160 Heat Treatments
- Solution treat by heating at a temperature of 465 +/- 5°C and quenching in water at a temperature not exceeding 40°C; Artificially age by heating at a temperature of 110 +/- 5°C for 6h to 24h, followed, with or without cooling, by further heating at a temperature of 177 +/- 5°C for 5h to 12h followed by air cooling.
