- Unless otherwise specified, it is normally supplied in the solution annealed condition. The alloy is usually solution annealed in the range of 1149°C to 1177°C (2100°F to 2150°F), depending on product form, for a time commensurate with section thickness and rapidly cooled or water-quenched for optimum properties.
