UNI P-AlZn5.8MgCuCr Heat Treatments
- Full Annealing (O) from 400 to 430°C for 1 to 3h to scheme with subsequent slow cooling in the oven (max. 25°C/h up to 200°C).
T6 - Hardening in water (up to 40°C) from 460 to 480°C, after preheating for 0.5 to 3h in scheme followed by artificial aging from 115 to 125°C for 24h to scheme.
T651 - Heat treatment equal to T6, planned for the laminates that receive after quenching and before aging. Artificial a relaxing ironing involving a permanent deformation of 1.5 to 3%.
T6510 - Heat treatment equal to T6, planned for the extrudes that receive after quenching and before aging artificial a relaxing ironing comprising a 1 to 3% permanent deformation.
T6511 - Heat treatment equal to T6510, provided for receiving the extruded modest operations of straightening after ironing, for reasons of dimensional tolerances.
T652 - Heat treatment equal to T6, planned for forgings that receive after quenching and before aging artificial operation of cold compression for stretching the material comprising a permanent deformation from 1 to 4%
T76 Quenching into water (up to 40°C) from 460 to 480°C after preheating for 0.5 to 3 h to scheme, followed by aging. Artificial in two stages of which the first 115 to 125°C for 3 to 5h at full power and the second to:
- Laminated - from 160 to 170°C for 15 to 18h in scheme
- Extruded - from 155 to 165°C for 18 to 21 has scheme.
T73 - Hardening in water (up to 40°C) from 460 to 480°C after preheating for 0.5 to 3h to scheme, followed by aging. Artificial in two stages the first of which from 100 to 110°C for 6 to 8h in the scheme and according to:
- Laminated - from 160 to 170°C for 24 to 30h in scheme
- Extruded - from 170 to 180°C for 6 to 8h in scheme
- Drawn, forged and printed - from 170 to 180°C for 8 to 10h to scheme.
T7352 - Heat treatment equal to T73, the second stage of the artificial aging cycle is carried out from 170 to 180°C for 6 to 8h in scheme.
