SS Al Cu6BiPb Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing at 380-420°C, fast heating. Hold time about 30 minutes after heat warming. Cooling should take place slowly and preferably in an oven to about 250°C, then free cooling.
Solution at 535 ± 5°C, fast heating. Hold time about 15 minutes after heat warming. Cooling in cold water.
Naturally aged at room temperature. Holding time about 5-7 days.
Warm aging at 175 ± 5°C, holding time about 6 h, free cooling.
