AA 333.0 Heat Treatments
- Cooled from an elevated temperature shaping process and then artificially aged (T5): Aging treatment at 204.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 400°F (± 10°F) for 7 - 9 hours.
Solution heat treated and artificially aged (T6): Solution heat treated at 504.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 940°F (± 10°F)/6 - 12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 154.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 310°F (± 10°F) for 2 - 5 hours.
Solution heat treated and overage/stabilized (T7): Solution heat treated at 504.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 940°F (± 10°F)/6 - 12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 260°C (± 5.56°C) / 500°F (± 10°F) for 4 - 6 hours.
