AA 296.0 Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treated and artificially aged (T6): Solution heat treated at 510°C (± 5.56°C) / 950°F (± 10°F)/8 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 154.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 310°F (± 10°F) for 1 - 8 hours.
