AA 295.0 Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treated and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition (T4): Solution heat treated at 515.5°C (± 5.56°C) / 960°F (± 10°F)/12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Solution heat treated and artificially aged (T6): Solution heat treated at 515.5°C (± 5.56°C) / 960°F (± 10°F)/12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 154.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 310°F (± 10°F) for 3 - 6 hours.
T62: Solution heat treated at 515.5°C (± 5.56°C) / 960°F (± 10°F)/12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 154.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 310°F (± 10°F) for 12 - 24 hours.
Solution heat treated and overage/stabilized (T7): Solution heat treated at 515.5°C (± 5.56°C) / 960°F (± 10°F)/12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 260°C (± 5.56°C) / 500°F (± 10°F) for 4 - 6 hours.
