- Quenching temperature: 820–850 °C (for Al-containing steels: 840-880°C);
Quenching holding time: about 1.5 min for each 1 mm of specimen diameter or thickness;
Quenching medium: oil;
Tempering temperature: about 150°C;
Tempering time: 1-2 h
