IS X03Cr13Ni4Mo Heat Treatments
- Hot forming at 1150-900°C, cooling in air.
Annealing (+A) at 600-650°C, furnace or air cooling.
Quenching and tempering (+QT1): heating at 950-1050°C, quenching in oil or air, tempering at 650-700°C + 600-620°C.
(+QT2): Heating at 950-1050°C, quenching in oil or air, tempering at 550-600°C.
(+QT3): Heating at 950-1050°C, quenching in oil or air, tempering at 520-580°C. - Solution annealed at 600 to 650°C - If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified is usually preferred, or even exceeded;
