PROPRIETARY 201LN Heat Treatments
- After cold forming (work hardening) and welding, an annealing treatment for a couple of minutes at 1050 ± 25°C, followed by quenching, restores the microstructure (recrystallisation and dissolution of carbides) and eliminates internal stresses. After annealing, pickling, followed by passivation, is necessary.
