ASME SA-182 FNIC Heat Treatments
- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Solution treated and quenched at 983 - 1038°C (1800 - 1900°F), liquid and rapid cooled.
Quenching cool below 260°C (500°F).
