GB CF8C Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treated at 1065-1150°C, water cooled + stabilization heat treated at 870-900°C, water cooled or rapid cooled.
The holding time heat treatment is calculated based on the general size of the castings installed in the furnace. When the thickness is less than or equal to 25 mm, the holding time is not less than 1 h, and the holding time is increased by 1 h for every 25 mm of thickness.
