PROPRIETARY USD-H Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: heat to 760 - 810°C for 4 - 6 hours, then slow furnace cooling.
Hardening: heat to 1010 - 1040°C. Oil or polymer cooling or vacuum hardening.
Tempering: 520 - 620°C.
Nitriding is possible.
Preheating before use at 150 - 350°C.
