PROPRIETARY Pearl Micro TS700 Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treatment by heating to 1050-1090°C with a preheating step and quenching in oil or using high pressure gas.
Age at 600-700°C for 4h to reach the desired hardness.
Inter critical heat treatment: A heat treatment with soaking between Ac1 and Ac3 at 815°C to reduce the grain size and increase the elongation. This heat treatment gives a better elongation at the cast of a slightly reduced maximum operating temperature.
Solution treatment I: At 1050°C
Solution treatment II: At 815°C
Age I: At 650°C/4h
Age II: At 675°C/4h
Age III: At 590°C/4h
