PROPRIETARY SIHARD 2826 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: Heat to 680-720°C, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 240.
Hardening: Harden from a temperature of 820-860°C followed by oil quenching or hot quenching at 180-220°C.
Tempering temperature: 300-550°C.
