PROPRIETARY SP Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 690 - 720°C for 4 - 6h, slow furnace cooling. Stress relieving at appr. 650°C for 1 - 2h, slow cooling. Hardening at 820 - 860°C, quenching in oil, for small sections, start from low range of temperature, interrupt quenching at appr. 150°C. Tempering as required. For expanding bushes: 150 - 200°C and, in the elastic area, 400 - 500°C.
