ASTM A 965 Grade F904L Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed in the temperature range of 1050 to 1150°C (1920 to 2100°F).
On completion of forging operations, the forgings shall be solution annealed and quenched in water, oil, or a polymer water solution until the forging(s) are below 260°C (500°F).
