TGL 1.4060 Heat Treatments
- Normalized at 870 - 900°C;
Blank hardened 860 - 880°C, oil;
Carburizing at 900 - 950°C cooled in water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C, salt bath 580 - 680°C, cooled in air; Hardened at 850 - 880°C, water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Interannealed at 650 - 680°C cooled in air or oven; Hardened at 810 - 840°C water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Tempering annealed at 170 - 210°C.
