TGL 20 MnCr5 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming: 1050-850°C
Soft annealing: 650-680°C
Operating temperature: 870-900°C
Oil hardening: 810-840°C - Normalized at 870 - 900°C.
Blank hardened at 860 - 880°C, oil quenched.
Carburized at 900 - 950°C cooled in water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C, salt bath at 580 - 680°C cooled in air; Hardened at 850 - 880°C, water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Interannealed at 650 - 680°C, cooled in air or oven; Hardened at 810 - 840°C water or oil, warm bath at 180 - 250°C; Tempering annealed at 170 - 210°C.
