IS 410 Heat Treatments
- A1: Annealing at 700 - 780°C, furnace or air cooling.
Quenching and tempering: Hardening at 950 - 1000°C, oil quenching or air cooling, tempering at 700 - 750°C.
A2: Annealing at 770 - 870°C, furnace or air cooling. - Shall be supplied in heat treated condition, where the pipes/tubes are reheated to a temperature of 650°C and cooled as appropriate to meet the requirements of this specification.
