NB P11 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing and tempering of steel pipes:
For wall thickness =<30mm, normalizing temperature 900 to 960°C and tempering temperature 650°C.
For wall thickness > 30mm steel tube, quenching plus tempering or normalizing and tempering: quenching temperature not lower than 900°C, tempering temperature 650°C. Normalizing temperature at 900 to 960°C, tempering temperature at 650°C, but quick cooling after normalizing.
