ASTM A 335 Grade P11 Heat Treatments
- Full or isothermal annealed or normalized and tempered. Tempered at minimum 650°C (1200°F).
It is recommended that the temperature for tempering should be at least 50°C (100°F) above the intended service temperature; consequently, the purchaser should advise the manufacturer if the service temperature is to be over 600°C (1100°F).
After weld repair, shall be heat treated at 740 - 780°C (1365 - 1435°F).
