NB 12Cr1MoVG Heat Treatments
- Normalizing and tempering of steel pipes:
For wall thickness =<30mm, normalizing temperature 980 to 1020°C and tempering temperature 720 to 760°C.
For wall thickness > 30mm steel tube, quenching temperature not lower than 950 to 990°C, tempering temperature 700 to 750°C. Normalizing temperature at 980 to 1020°C, tempering temperature at 720 to 760°C, but quick cooling after normalizing.
