NB 12Cr13NiMo Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment process at 960°C to 1010°C, a range of austenitizing temperature for a period of time after the air-cooled or oil-cooled and followed by tempering for 4 hours at a nominal temperature of between 610°C and 670°C and then air cooling.
In addition, forgings can be stabilized at a temperature lower than the minimum tempering temperature 30°C to 50°C.
