AIR 25 CD 4 S Heat Treatments
- Hardened and tempered (T880) for bars: Hardened at 870 +/- 10°C, Tempered at 550 +/- 5°C;
Annealed (R) at 850-875°C, slow cooled;
Hardened and tempered (T880) for bars and forged parts: Hardened at 830 - 880°C, Tempered at min. 520°C;
Hardened and tempered (T780) for bars and forged parts: Hardened at 830 - 880°C, Tempered at min. 550°C;
Hardened and tempered (T640) for bars and forged parts: Hardened at 830 - 880°C, Tempered at min. 580°C;
Normalized (N) for sheets and annealed at 860-880°C, slow cooled in air;
Hardened and tempered (T880) for sheets: Hardened at 880 - 880°C, Tempered at min. 520°C;
Normalized and stress relieved for seamless tubes at 860 to 880°C.
